German ITSM market study: Efecte offers best performance-price ratio

Espoo, 10. March 2020 - The German analyst firm Research in Action (RiArecently published its 2020 edition of the annual IT Service Management (ITSM) Vendor Selection Matrix study. Finnish ITSM software provider Efecte reached the 5th position in the overall ranking of 20 solutions, with only a few points behind the international market leader ServiceNow. 

With this, RiA considers Efecte to be the European alternative to ServiceNow. Efecte received top marks for its excellent price-performance ratio and high customer satisfaction. The breadth and depth of Efecte’s solutions and the differentiation on the market through innovative functionalities also received very good ratings. Finally, with a customer recommendation rate of 96%, Efecte is ranked amongst the most recommended solutions. The results of the study are based on the opinion of the 750 IT Managers interviewed by RiA.

About RIA's ESM study 

In the 2020 edition of their annual market study, the German analysts from Research in Action (RIA) compared 20 software providers from the IT and Enterprise Service Management sectors and explained trends and challenges in the industry. 750 managers holding responsibility for IT budgets were interviewed for the study either by telephone or online. The respondents evaluated the individual providers according to specific criteria. These included factors like vision and marketing, company stability and implementation power, breadth and depth of the solution offering, market share and growth, and customer satisfaction.
