Efecte’s strong growth continues
- Company’s business in the Nordic countries increases turnover substantially

The strong growth of software vendor, Efecte Corp., continues. The firm’s consolidated turnover in 2006 increased to 3.9 million euros, over 60% more than the year before.
In addition, Efecte’s number of employees nearly doubled during the accounting period due to the successful year. At the beginning of 2006, Efecte had 35 employees and, at the end of the year, nearly 70 in four countries. The company will recruit more personnel this year, specifically in its headquarters and in product development operations in Helsinki and its offices in Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
Efecte’s CEO, Kristian Jaakkola, is satisfied with the result for the period gone by. ”Efecte’s speed of growth has been higher than the industry average. We have focused on international operations while the company’s profitability and solvency have remained excellent. Our internationalization has benefited our customers through better resourcing", Jaakkola adds.
According to Kristian Jaakkola, the company’s strong growth is based on understanding customers’ needs and flexible solutions. ”We have been able to meet the needs of information management and business with our agile solutions, which again have brought us more customers. Our position as the leading Nordic supplier of IT Management solutions has provided us with a sound basis for growth in the international market. In Finland, we are a strong player serving middle-sized and large organizations in both the private and public sectors. This year, our goal is to strengthen our market position in the Nordic countries and increase our turnover even more than last year”, Jaakkola continues.
Finnish software vendor, Efecte Corp., has rapidly become a major player in the Nordic countries. In the beginning of March, the company appointed Risto Siilasmaa Chairman of the Board. Siilasmaa is the founder of F-Secure.
