NCSD Selects Efecte for IT Service Management

Software company Efecte Corp. will provide the NCSD Group (Nordic Central Securities Depository) with an IT services management solution. Through this solution, NCSD will combine its IT support service management in Finland and Sweden.
Efecte’s system will form a core component in NCSD’s IT support services. The new solution will enable the comprehensive monitoring and measurement of services and support the group-wide development of service quality.
“Our aim is to unify our IT service models group-wide, while switching to one centralized solution. The Efecte solution will enable the flexible production of services and the improvement of cost-efficiency in internal IT service production,” summaries Mirja Lamminpää and Jan Palm, Head of IT Production and Technology.
As part of the project, the NCSD’s IT management processes will be incorporated into the system. The software solution will be used to support and secure production services of business critical systems. The system will serve over 250 staff once implemented in full.
Efecte’s solution will be adapted to the extensively refined service processes of NCSD Group’s IT management. The close monitoring of service quality will be enabled by a combination of prepared processes, a flexible system and multifaceted reporting features. In this way, operational efficiency and end-user satisfaction can be improved simultaneously,” avers Juha Berghäll, Efecte’s Country Manager.
According to the agreement Efecte will provide NCSD with the Efecte Service Desk (based on ITIL and including Incident Management and Problem Management), Change Management, and Service Level Management solutions.
