Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa selects Efecte® Service Management solution

The leading Finnish software developer in IT Asset Management and IT Service Management , Efecte Corp., has supplied the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa, HUS, with an Efecte® Service Management solution.

With the help of this comprehensive solution, HUS can centrally manage Helpdesk work supervision, reporting and solution management. The system Efecte supplied forms a central part of the operation of HUS’s Helsinki hospitals’ internal IT communication center. The communication center receives approximately 4,000 support requests a month, mainly from employees of Helsinki hospitals.

In the future, the system will expand to cover the whole of HUS. At its most extensive, the system operates as an everyday tool for 200 experts. In addition to offering internal support for HUS, the system will be used for the supervision of second level support and monitoring and reporting on IT projects.

“Our goal is to transfer to uniform software environments in stages, which is why the system had to be easily expandable to cover the whole of HUS. We selected the Efecte® system because of its flexibility, vast range of features and versatile reporting options. The company also had a convincing set of references based on similar deliveries”, reports IT Service Manager, Pekka Lampinen.
