Efecte invests in internationalization
Efecte Oy, the leading Finnish software developer in IT Asset Management and IT Service Management, invests in internationalization.
Company founder and Chairman of the Board, Jaan Apajalahti, will take over the post of CEO from Kristian Jaakkola, who will start as full-time Chairman of the Board in charge of building up a foreign sales organization and leading the company's strategy work.
Efecte’s profitable growth in recent years will enable the company to make changes which will support its strategy of concentrating on the IT Asset and Service Management and building a Scandinavian sales organization. Thanks to this change, Jaakkola, who has led Efecte for six years, will have more time to build foreign sales organizations and lead strategy work. The company founder, Apajalahti, will take control of daily operations in Finland. The change will enter into force on 3rd May 2005.
“Efecte has grown to become a well known, leading Finnish software developer with over 200 customers”, reports Efecte’s founder, newly appointed CEO Jaan Apajalahti. “The company is now in a phase during which, in addition to successful domestic operations, it must invest abroad and make Scandinavian B2B customers aware of the successful business already established in Finland. Kristian Jaakkola's know-how and experience in leading Efecte up to now will help in our internationalization and we have already established a sales office in Stockholm”, Apajalahti continues.
