Efecte delivers ITIL solution to SysOpen Digia

Efecte Corp., a leading Nordic IT service management solution provider, has completed an ITIL compatible solution delivery to SysOpen Digia.
SysOpen Digia uses the comprehensive solution to manage its IT environment and application maintenance services and its support services processes. SysOpen Digia also uses Efecte solutions for management of IT assets and licenses as well as management of agreements. As a result of the commissioning of the solution, SysOpen Digia's integration business brought into use processes compatible with the ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) operations model in the production of its IT services. The objectives of the project were to improve the quality and effectiveness of its IT services by modernizing its processes and to diversify reporting.
“We needed an ITIL-compatible system to support our application maintenance service management, support service operations management, and process modernization, which would support the development of our services in the long run. We ultimately made the decision to expand our existing Efecte system with an ITIL solution because, of all of the alternatives examined, the current system’s ITIL process support was the most adaptable to our operations model. The system also proved to be flexible and adaptable to our current operating environment,” says SysOpen Digia project manager Eero Aho.
“Commissioning of the ITIL solution has enabled us to integrate the different divisions of our IT service process into a single, logical, and easily managed system. With the help of the solution’s versatile reporting functions, we can monitor the development of our service quality in real time and can also minimize risk factors that could affect our service production, before they become an issue,” says Aho.
