Efecte and Tieturi unite their ITIL competences

The leading Finnish software house in data management solutions for IT services, Efecte Oy, has joined forces with the leading Finnish information technology and project management training company, Tieturi.

Together, Efecte and Tieturi offer data administration organizations the support and tools they need when migrating to the ITIL working method. With a comprehensive package, IT organizations can have ITIL compliant processes in use in a few months.

A centralized solution, which changes according to the customer’s processes and guarantees the solution a long lifecycle, was created as a result of Efecte’s and Tieturi’s co-operation. The solution offered covers all central areas of ITIL: people, processes and tools. Working models developed by Efecte and Tieturi and honed by customer use guarantee rapid implementation.

“Our main goals in the development of IT service management processes have been improving cost efficiency and performance, the quality of services and as a result more satisfied customers and users. Developing processes, improving operations, and establishing change are demanding challenges in which Tieturi offers expertise to its customers. Improving the readiness for change in an organization by developing know-how plays a central role", explains Marko Koskela, Manager of ITIL Service Operations at Tieturi.

“Implementing ITIL processes and tools is always a major challenge for the entire data administration and it demands changes in the way a company’s data administration operates. Thus, a mere software solution is not enough. In co-operation with Tieturi, we are launching a comprehensive ITIL solution, which combines Efecte’s effective data and process management tools with Tieturi's know-how and expertise in ITIL process training and consultancy. Our clientele have given the solution a warm reception and joint implementations have been extremely successful”, points out Jaan Apajalahti, Efecte CEO.
