BasWare Chairman Mr. Hannu Vaajoensuu – a new board member of Efecte
Efecte, a leading Finnish vendor of IT Asset and IT Service Management solutions, has chosen an experienced new member into its board.
The chairman of the board of a listed Finnish company, BasWare, has agreed to join Efecte board.
- Efecte is a very interesting growth company which has reached a leading position in the Finnish market. Efecte is establishing now in the Nordics and later on in Europe and I do believe that my experience and support is a valuable advantage in this phase of strong growth and internationalization. It was a fine recognition that Efecte was ranked in Deloitte’s EMEA Fast 500 list, says Mr. Hannu Vaajoensuu.
- When I started internationalization of BasWare the company was in
a similar status as Efecte now. During my time as a CEO of BasWare,
the company was transformed from a home-market company of 50 persons into an international organization of 320 people. I have accepted the new challenge with great enthusiasm and interest, says Mr. Vaajoensuu.
Mr. Hannu Vaajoensuu has over 20 years experience of the software business. Since 1990 he has been in different leading positions within BasWare. He was CEO of BasWare between years 1999-2004. Additionally, he has been the vice-chairman of the board of Comptel Oyj since August 2005.
