Henri Jääskeläinen joined Efecte in March 2005 as an Software Developer. Previously, he had been working as a freelancer programmer, among other things, but then his wife spotted Efecte’s job advertisement. Henri was thrilled and sent in an application.
 After the interview, he was highly charged while waiting for the results. "This was the company I had to get into. The job was perfect for me." From the outset, the working atmosphere at Efecte turned out to be wonderful and the company – at the time still relatively small but steadily growing and going global – seemed to have promising potential “with respect to any goals”. Over the years, the situation has not changed, at least not for the worse.
During the autumn of 2006, Henri switched jobs from Software Developer to Product Specialist. This was due to an ITIL project lasting a few months that had inspired Henri to try a more project oriented job. Now, his new job is to function as a link between the product development team and product administration, to advise product managers in more technical matters and consultants in the deployment of new product features.
"At Efecte, employees’ feelings are genuinely taken into account and efforts are made to help everyone find their place. I have never come across an atmosphere like that at Efecte, and I already have experience of several workplaces. In fact, in terms of my job, I feel that I’ve won the jackpot!"
In addition to his wife, Henri’s family includes a small daughter, occupying most of Henri’s free time. As a family man, Henri appreciates the flexible working hours at Efecte. "With a family, schedules always change. With such flexible working hours, we have never had to rely on any special arrangements, but fitting everything in has always been a simple, organizational question."
