Year 2011 at the Efecte Service Desk

The past year was a success for the Efecte Service Desk. The overall score given to our services in customer feedback was 5.5/6, a great improvement over the already excellent score of 5/6 in 2010. A big “Thank you!” for all those 250 pieces of feedback that we received over the course of the year! They provide the most valuable information for me as the head of the Service Desk. 

We also managed to deal successfully with some challenging staff changes. Antti Kuulas, always energetic and helpful, moved to the world of studies to broaden his knowledge. He will continue to work for Efecte as a substitute during vacations. Long-time Efecte professional Katriina Passila also left the team for the time being, to go on maternity leave. Moreover, Efecte guru Tero Matinlassi joined the ranks of a partner of ours, Verco.

Although Tuija Länsisalmi has all the expertise needed to provide support by herself, one person does not make a team. Fortunately, we found simply wonderful new support persons to join us. Milla Kangas has over 10 years of experience in the ICT sector, in software support and maintenance. I´m amazed at how quickly Milla has been learning how Efecte products work. The last new member on our team is Olli Savolainen. Olli came to us with experience of the Efecte product family, as he transferred from a customer, Tapiola Data. Barely a month has gone by, but Olli has already assumed a fair share of responsibility for support duties and is rapidly learning new things. 

The Service Desk also collaborates with NotkiaIT, a partner that has three top Efecte experts to serve our customers if the need arises.

The fresh energy of Olli and Milla, coupled with Tuija´s in-depth expertise, ensures that our customers can continue to enjoy superior support service in 2012. Whatever the problem, we will solve it  – not just pass it on or bury it.

The Efecte Service Desk wishes all customers a happy new year for 2012!
